Advanced Encryption Technology (AET) Europe uses cutting edge technology to create solutions for secure authentication, authorization and information exchange. Our products are used to secure information for government, healthcare and private companies all over the world. Currently AET is expanding into new markets and therefore our Professional Services department is hiring new eager team members.

Your opportunity as a project manager

As a Project Manager, you take the lead in complex security projects. It is up to you to bring the status of the project and the planning fully in line with the expectations of the client and the most important stakeholders.

You are the first point of contact within the project when it comes to technical and commercial matters for colleagues, customers and suppliers. The Project Manager escalates implementation and integration issues in a timely manner and ensures an effective solution. As a Project Manager you know how to convince and take the client on board.

You ensure that the project is conducted according to the standards of AET, including ensuring that a project plan and planning is created, and designs, implementations, tests and deployments are conducted by the project members. You monitor the budget, scope, time and quality of the project.

Your profile

As a project manager you are dedicated (like us) to information security. It is in your nature to take responsibility and ownership, and you enjoy working as a team on innovative products. A self-supporting attitude is required, proactively sourcing and sharing relevant information with your team and the company. You are a team player and can organize and prioritize your workload. You always strive for improvement. You are pro-active with great communication skills.

The Project Manager is occupied with:

• Initiating, managing and administrating projects of AET.
• Managing the project team.
• Managing the scope, time (planning and milestones), quality and budget of the project.
• Time tracking and resource management for the project, including overseeing the financial budget and hour tracking for AET administration.
• Being the main contact person for the project towards the different stakeholders.
• Acting as a primary point of contact for project-related information and planning for customers and its employees.
• Providing input for creating DAP, SLA, technical application management and support documentation.
• Problem analysis:
  • Analysing the customer’s needs.
  • Thinking along to find solutions and/or work-arounds.
• Proactively thinking along to improve the AET organisation and her solutions.

Currently we are looking for candidates at junior and medior level.  

Qualities:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• Proven experience in IT project management
• Experience with:
  • MS Office
  • ITIL, Service Management (Specific Clientele ITSM) and software development processes
  • Common project methodologies such as PRINCE2, Waterfall and Agile/SCRUM
• Is able to work well in a project team
• Can communicate professionally with technical and non-technical project members
• Pays attention to operational excellence and are quality driven
• Provides feedback to the organisation and thinks along proactively to improve the AET organisation and her solutions
• Is able to communicate fluently in English (both writing and speaking)
