Release of SafeSign Identity Client version 4.0.0.0 for Windows, MacOS and Linux

Arnhem, March 2023 – We are happy to announce that AET Europe released a new SafeSign Identity Client version.

AET Europe, the leading vendor of solutions around strong digital identities, launches the new generation of their smartcard middleware product SafeSign Identity Client version 4.0.0.0.

This next version has the following changes/added features:

• macOS 13 support
• RedHat 9 support
• ECC support (subject to platform and applet capabilities)
• RSA 4096 support for the G&D SCE7 platform (subject to applet capabilities)
• Bugfixes and security patches

For transitions towards ECC cryptography, or RSA cryptography beyond 2048 bit keys, please contact your SafeSign IC supplier for guidance.

With this launch, the company reinforces its position in the market as the front-runner of solutions enabling secure elements for desktop applications. This newest version for Windows, MacOS and Linux as well as the official release notes are available for all customers with active Maintenance Service Agreements.
