Arnhem, July 6th 2016 – The agreement also allows Veus Technology to offer e-CPF? for medical doctors, so they can guarantee the authenticity of drug prescriptions, and exam requests and results. Laboratories will be able to attend Resolution RDC30 through the platform.

AET Europe, a developer of Information Security solutions, is working with Veus Technology, a Brazilian supplier of digital technology and services for the health sector, to build a mobile platform for the management of digital certificates of drug prescriptions, documents and results to hospitals and clinical laboratories in compliance with RDC30 standard. This resolution, issued in July 2015 by Anvisa (National Health Surveillance Agency of Brazil), establishes the use of digital signatures on clinical results, pursuant to Provisional Measure number 2,200-2/2001 of the Brazilian Presidency.

The partnership with AET Europe allows Veus Technology to announce the launch of an economic package for small laboratories that includes digital certification and a mobile platform for issuing results, as well as kicking off a campaign to offer e-CPF (Brazilian electronic ID) to doctors working at hospitals and laboratories, using a mobile device app for iOS and Android. The goal, according to Marcelo Botelho, Director at Veus Technology, is to disseminate the use of digital certification to professionals of the health sector without the need of any heavy investment in hardware by hospitals and laboratories.

The mobile app will encourage the adoption of digital certification by doctors, hospitals and laboratories because it eliminates the need to purchase hardware, cards and readers. The mobile app can easily be integrated in other application solutions. Veus’s mobile platform was designed to manage the processing of certified documents?, the executive says.

According to Marcelo Botelho, the agreement with AET Europe facilitates the adoption of a solution for mobile devices and contributes to the improvement of Veus Technology’s strategy to provide broad solutions for the management and issuing of results with digital certification using AET Europe’s ConsentID Identity Provider. This tool is responsible for a secure management of digital certification by DigitalSign (Certification Authority) in mobile devices.

The high quality standards of ConsentID allows us to advance with our strategy to be the first provider ready to supply technology and services to laboratories , compliant with Resolution RDC30. Combined with issuing digital certificates by DigitalSign, ConsentID ensures the delivery of a complete solution to facilitate a secure management of documents, drugs prescriptions, and test results carried out by laboratories. We expect a widespread usage of digital certification through our technologies in the second half of this year, when the legal service of Resolution RDC30 is set to take effect. AET Europe’s expertise is vital to ensure the attainment of our goals,? emphasizes Marcelo Botelho.

According to Reinoud Weijman, CEO of AET Europe, the partnership with Veus Technology strengthens our position in the global market for safety solutions and digital authentication. Veus has a leadership position and excellent penetration in the Brazilian market of solutions for the health sector, which is one of the most promising for our company, so much so that we are strengthening our commercial and support teams to ensure the best usability for ConsentID as the ?benchmark for mobile digital certification. This agreement also contributes to expanding our presence in Latin America, where we have reference projects that reaffirm our commitment in the region and where the health industry offers ?great opportunities for ConsentID and also to other technological solutions in our portfolio?.
