Avencis SSOX Single Sign On Software Suite
SSOX is an enterprise-class, generic, non-intrusive single sign-on solution. The SSOX SSO engine detects authentication requests issued by applications and acts on user’s behalf during connection and password change operations. SSOX supports all types of applications (Windows, Web forms with Internet Explorer or Firefox, terminal emulators) running either on users’ workstations or accessed remotely.
SSOX leverages the enterprise LDAP directory infrastructure to provide centralized administration and credentials storage. Users credentials are also stored on smart cards, which brings increased autonomy and redundancy. The same smart cards can be used as well for storing digital certificates, for physical access and as corporate ID cards.

SafeSign Identity Client and Avencis SSOX
The combination of SSOX and SafeSign Identity Client (IC) gives you full flexibility in the use of platforms, applications, hardware, smartcards and tokens. SafeSign IC enforces two- or multi factor security, requiring the end user to have both the USB token or smart card (something you have) and a Personal Identity Number (something you know) or even biometrics. USB tokens and smart cards are physically and logically tamper-resistant, ensuring that the
end user’s digital credentials can not be copied, modified or shared.
