BlueX Digital ID Management Meets CWA 14167-1 Standard

KPMG has issued an audit declaration confirming that BlueX Digital ID Management from A.E.T. Europe B.V. (AET) meets the “Security Requirements for Trustworthy Systems Managing Certificates for Electronic Signatures” CEN/ISSS WS/E-Sign (CWA 14167-1).

“This quality standard certificate is very important to us,” says Haaino Beljaars, Product Manager of A.E.T. Europe B.V. “Our Digital ID Management system, BlueX, and the Backup & Recovery procedure have each been successfully audited. This means our clients can use BlueX in the issuing process for qualified certificates, among other things for digital signatures, in accordance with the requirements stated in ETSI QCP 7.4.7.”

Jan Biets of the Royal Federation of Belgian Notaries (KFBN) can endorse this: “We have been using BlueX for issuing certificates since 2006 and have been completely satisfied. Now that it has been fully proven that BlueX meets the high standards set by CWA 14167-1, our entire certificate issuing procedure conforms to ETSI requirements which is important among other things for the issuing of certificates for Belgian notaries.“
