AET will show SafeSign Identity Client for Windows Mobile and BlackBerry at Cards Asia 2010

Strong authentication for your PDA

SafeSign Identity Client (IC) for Windows Mobile and the SafeSign IC Enabler for BlackBerry offer a solution for securely using your digital certificate on your PDA, phone or smart phone. Together with the SafeSign IC software for Windows, Linux, MAC OS X and other platforms, and a range of SafeSign IC enablers, SafeSign IC supports multiple tokens on multiple platforms and multiple devices for over 16 million users worldwide.

‘We see an increased use of mobile devices that contain sensitive information like e-mails and contact data” according to Reinoud Weijman, Managing Director of A.E.T. Europe B.V. (AET). “Although corporate infrastructures are secured with strong authentication through the use of smart cards or USB tokens, mobile devices still posed a threat since they can easily be lost or stolen or provide hackers with access points into protected corporate networks. With SafeSign Identity Client for Windows Mobile and the SafeSign IC Enabler for BlackBerry the security features of SafeSign IC can be extended to you mobile devices.”

SafeSign Identity Client for Windows Mobile Through a combination of security services and the use of digital certificates the Windows Mobile® security architecture helps protect critical business data and systems from these types of threats by offering strong authentication, SSL, S/MIME and Wi-Fi encryption, Storage Card encryption, VPN support, enc. These digital certificates should be stored on a secure removable device like a smart card or microSD card, to prevent identity theft and misuse of the certificate.

SafeSign IC for Windows Mobile and BlackBerry will be demonstrated in combination with Mobile Security Card microSD cards. The Token Tool allows users to perform some basic token operations (such as register certificate and change PIN) and provides users with an easy tool for viewing and testing their certificates. You can find us at Cards Asia, booth 4125, Suntec Singapore, from April, 21 to April, 23 2010.
